CM Shahbaz Sharif inaugurates University of Engineering & Technology’s sub-campus at Narowal a few moments ago. The campus is associated with UET-Lahore and is part of the Shahbaz Sharif’s vision to develop the under-developed areas of Punjab. Major focus of the campus will be on practical and industrial training. UET-Narowal campus is offering B.Sc in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Computer Sciences & Engineering. Initially 480 undergraduate students will be enrolled, and the number will subsequently increase to 960. CM Shahbaz Sharif’s 5 years tenure is being recognized as a period of Education Reforms, as the quality education is made accessible to far flung areas of Punjab. (admin)
